GlaxoSmithKline concludes $3 billion settlement with US Government Jul 2nd 2012, 14:59 GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) today announced that it has reached an agreement with the U.S. Government, multiple states and the District of Columbia to conclude the company's most significant ongoing Federal government investigations.  GSK will make payments totaling $3 billion, which are covered by existing provisions and will be funded through existing cash resources
