How to Dry Nail Polish Quickly Sep 10th 2012, 04:00 Ever decided to paint your nails, then realized they're not going to be dry in time? Here's a quick and easy way to get them totally dry as fast as possible and still look dazzling! - Run cold water into a sink or a bowl, large enough for your fingernails to be submerged. Add ice cubes.
- Paint your nails. The great thing about this drying technique means it doesn't matter if they're still a little messy.
- Slowly sink your fingertips/hands into the water.
- Keep your fingertips/hands there for three minutes. Yes, it'll feel cold but be brave for beauty!
-
- The colder the water, the faster the fresh polish will dry. For slightly warmer water, keep your hands in the sink for five minutes.
- When you take your hands out, your nail polish should be rock hard and any splotches on your skin will have been cleared away.
- Run a sink full of water before painting nails, especially if your sink has a plug that you must put in yourself.
- If you don't like the cold method, try putting your wet nails under a blow dryer or a light. These methods work quite quickly too.
Edit Warnings - Be careful not to smudge fingers while in water.
- Don't use water that is warm. Your nails won't dry.
Edit Things You'll Need - Nail paint/polish
