Place a pair of dumbbells at the spots where you position your hands for a pushup.

Grasp a dumbbell with each hand and get into the pushup position (a). Lower your body to the floor, pause, then push yourself back up (b). Once you're back in the starting position, life the dumbbell in your right hand to the right side of your chest (c). Lower the dumbbell and repeat with your left hand (d). "Walk" each hand one step forward, still holding the dumbbells (e), and follow with your feet so you're back in the starting position (f). That's 1 rep.
