| How to Disguise Your Beer Can With a Soda Can Sep 18th 2012, 16:00 When you don't want others to know that you're drinking beer from a can, you can hide it neatly beneath a soda can cover. Easy and fast to make, your friends will think you're very self-disciplined sticking to the soda all evening... - Remove the tab from the top of the empty soda can.
- Using the can opener, remove the entire top of the soda can.
- Using the can opener, remove the base of the soda can. This will be the indented portion of the base.
- Using scissors, cut around the base of the soda can to remove the remainder of the base. Ensure that you make a perfectly neat edge all the way around.
- Find a part of the can which has a line of writing or other line that you can neatly follow for cutting along the side. Cut along this line using the scissors, from the base to the top of the can. This will open the can completely.
- Use the metal file to smooth both edges that you've just cut down the middle of the can.
- Gently roll the can up. This is to restore its ability to spring back together at the cut, so that it won't leave a gap when slipped over the beer can. Then let it spring apart again; it's now ready to use.
- Finally, slip the cover over the top of the unopened beer can. The only thing that should appear from the beer can is its top section, which will look just like it's a part of the soda can.
- Enjoy your beer in peace.
