How to Make Bacon Vodka Sep 10th 2012, 20:00 For the bacon lovin' booze-artist, here comes a combination you can't turn aside. Bacon vodka anyone? Edit Ingredients - 6 strips bacon
- 1 liter bottle vodka
- Place the cold bacon strips into the base of a skillet. Gently heat and cook until crispy.
- Remove the bacon from the heat. Place on paper towel to absorb excess grease. Allow to cool.
- Add the cooled bacon to a suitable size jar.
- Fill the jar with the vodka. If it doesn't all fit, don't worry; save the rest for another time. (Or drink it if you're feeling so inclined.)
- Seal the jar. Place in the refrigerator to infuse. Leave for one week.
- Remove the jar from the refrigerator after the week is up. Pour the vodka through a strainer to catch the bacon, into a clean glass bowl. Keep straining until it doesn't have any pieces of bacon in it.
- Pour into the storage bottle. Keep stored in the refrigerator.
- Enjoy! Serve with ice or as part of a drink biased toward bacon flavors.
