How to Do a Curly Bun Nov 25th 2012, 08:00 Want to do a twist on a regular old hair bun? This look adds some curls, and is great for everyday wear or for special occasions like Prom. Here's how to do it. - Comb through hair. Make it nice and tangle-free.
- Pull back your hair in a high or medium ponytail. If you have bangs, pin them aside, but don't pull them back.
- Take small sections of hair and curl them.
- Bobby pin individual curls to your head about 1 inch (3 centimeters) away from the ponytail.
- Don't scrunch up the curl.
- Pin the section of hair about 1 inch (3 centimeters) from its bottom.
- Repeat the process until all hair in the ponytail is curled and pinned around it.
- Set with hairspray.
- Finished.
